The aim of the research project "Urbanisation, suburbanisation and counterurbanisation of population subgroups in Estonia" is to analyse trends and determinants of migration in Estonia in a comparative perspective with other countries (in transition). We study urbanisation, suburbanisation and counterurbanisation by the main personal and contextual characteristics and we analyse the interdependencies between migration and commuting. We use "Census 2000" and "Social Survey 2004" data and logistic regression for data analyses in our study. |
