| duration: | 01.01.2004 - 31.12.2006 |
| description: | This interdisciplinary project focuses on developing and exploiting the unique benefits of pulsed laser deposition techniques (PLD, MALDI) in the development and research of the following materials: Nanostructured materials of complex composition for mixed metal oxide semiconductor sensors of toxic and flammable gases Dye-doped polymer films for oxygen and dissolved oxygen sensors Metal-doped diamond like carbon thin and ultrathin films for optical (visible and x-ray) and electrochemical applications Different structural and functional characterisation methods will be used (AFM, STM, XRD, optical spectroscopy). Relevant technical and methodical problems of deposition and in-situ monitoring will also be addressed. |
