Aim of the research is to estimate possibilities for utilising residual value of semi-coke - the solid waste of oil shale thermal processing, using the carbon contained in semi-coke for getting activated carbon. The presence and distribution of different forms of carbon in semicoke will be clarified and also the possibilities for its enrichment and activation. Physico-chemical characterisation and estimation for application of the products will be given. |
